WELCOME

Our friendly, relaxed campsite is set in the Kent countryside, often called the ‘Garden of England’. We are surrounded by fields and woods filled with wild garlic, beautiful birds and in spring, bluebells. If you’re lucky you may even spot a badger or deer! Strictly Camping really is the perfect place to pitch up and enjoy the great outdoors. With a great choice of local attractions, walks and cycle routes for you to explore nearby, we can guarantee you’ll never be bored.

WOODLAND PITCHES

Whether you prefer to camp under canvas or you're bringing your own camper van, our non-electric, forest floor private pitches in the woods are the perfect spot to relax, kick back and set up home. Each pitch comes with its own tarpaulin-covered area and firepit. You can even fling up a hammock between the trees for a well-earned rest if the fancy takes you.

HIRE A BELL TENT

If you don’t want the hassle of setting up your tent you can start enjoying your holiday as soon as you arrive in one of our bell tents. We have six basic bell tents which sleep up to six people, and contain z-beds and foam mattresses. Three are in the open field, two in the field on the edge of woodland, one in woodlands and one next to the fishing lake.

OPEN GRASS PITCHES

Our non-electric, open grass pitches are always popular as the ground is flat and perfect to pitch your tent on or park your campervan. Generous plots mean you'll never feel on top of your neighbours. All you need to do is arrive, set up, settle down, sit back and enjoy the surrounding beautiful countryside views. Perfectly located for a clear view of the stars around a campfire.

Every pitch has its own firepit and grills are available on request. Do not bring fire wood from off site, logs can be purchased on arrival.

THE FACILITIES

Strictly Camping has two shower blocks and two washing-up areas. There are two flushing toilets near reception, and we also have several portaloos dotted around the campsite.

There is a covered communal building near to reception, with tables and chairs where you can socialise and another in the main open field and every pitch comes with it’s own firepit.

There’s also a French boules pitch, table tennis, and a sand pit for the little ones.

  • "Perfect location only 10 minutes from Bewl Water. The tents are in a perfect setting with each plot having loads of space between each tent. Adventure through the woods at night was fun. Perfect campfire holiday for 2 nights, kids loved it. We will come again and try staying in the woods which looked really exciting seeing other peoples set ups. Couldn’t ask for more really."

  • "Amazing site. Surrounded and overhung with trees, which kept it fantastically cool, even though the temperature was in the 30's. The pitches were well spaced, we couldn't see or hear our nearest neighbours. Really seamlessly run too, lots of clean loos spaced out around the site. I would definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing escape."

    Russell G

  • "The camp site was excellent, It had everything you needed, we loved the fire pit. The showers were lovely. We will definately be staying again next year. The people who ran it were lovely as well."

    Lucy D

  • "Nice to have a mixture of grass and woodland pitches, we went for the latter. All the spots have a small wooden structure with some tarp overhead where you can pitch your tent. They have a washing area, hot showers (outdoor gas heaters) and toilets of course. Table tennis and boules area (couldn't find any balls so perhaps bring your own just in case or just ask when you arrive). Very friendly staff. Woke up to see a badger just a few metres from the tent so worth walking around the woods to see what you can find."

  • "Location is great, facilities are well organized, pitches are clean. Hosts are warm and welcoming people, checking if campers are ok from time to time."

  • "Fantastically well organised campsite with hardworking owners. Free trailer rides. Ice and logs delivered to pitches and kitchens."

  • "We stayed in a bell tent which came with camp beds, table and chairs. There was a separate kitchen area with a shelter and a place to light an open fire. We normally do wildling camping so this was such a nice treat to have facilities like a portaloo and kindling already chopped and collected for us. Our 9 year old girls were in their element and safe and free to explore the woods. Staff were lovely and welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay."

    REbecca S

  • "We really enjoyed the setup of the campsite, we opted for the woodland pitch which had plenty of space, a nice little area for a makeshift kitchen and big logs for seats around the fire pit. The staff were really friendly and helpful, explaining everything we needed to know. We wish we had stayed for longer and will definitely be returning. Showers and toilets were clean too which were a nice bonus."
